Osage Prairie Feed and Farm Supply in Maple Grove, MO was owned by Jim Ziler.  It was located in the former Ziler Mercantile building, which was owned by Jim's uncle Harry Ziler.  In the Ziler Mercantile, you could buy anything from lunch meat and groceries to nails and other hardware.  This building has also been called the Maple Grove Mall.  Unfortunately, Osage Prairie Feed and Farm Supply closed in March.  So only one business remains in the village of Maple Grove .
The one and only business still in Maple Grove, yes Maple Grove does have one business and is proud of it, is Bettes Dock and Door.  Bettes Dock and Door was previously John Billington's Billington Dock & Construction, but this year was bought by Tim Bettes, who changed the name.

The Jasper Junior Chamber of Commerce held its third meeting Wednesday, July 31 in the Jasper High School Vo-Ag room. The meeting was also planned on being a surprise birthday party for Mike Benward, who is a sponsor of the Junior Chamber. He was given two cakes, the first an iced box lid and then the real one. Everyone who attended the meeting was served cake, ice cream, and soda pop.
After the surprise part of the meeting the business was conducted. They discussed the Veterans Memorial which is supposed to be built in Jasper. The Junior Chamber will also be taking care of the portable miniature golf course in Jasper for the Jasper all school reunion. The Junior Chamber is still selling tickets to win the oak gun cabinet that is in the Jasper grocery store. August the 8th the Junior chamber will take a trip to the Missouri State Fair to see the Oakridge Boys in concert.
